Social Media Policy

One Degree North is fully aware that the communications landscape is consistently evolving and as such recognises the need to put some guidelines in place to empower you in using social media.

We encourage you to use social media, live in the real world and participate personally and professionally in all that the social media world has to offer.  This policy is in no way an attempt to discourage you from accessing blogs, social networking sites, forums or social media generally.  Instead, these guidelines should assist you in providing guidance, some practical tips, and an explanation of basic social media etiquette to help you more effectively represent One Degree North to the outside world.

These guidelines will ensure that the highest standards of conduct are observed to protect both you and us from the dangers of inappropriate use and will explain the consequences of stepping outside our boundaries in both a personal and professional manner. 

You should consider this guidance in conjunction with our Communication, Equal Opportunities, Excessive Use and Confidentiality policies as a minimum.
