Working Time Directive

Last Modified 28.03.2023

Your working week should not, on average, exceed 48 hours over a rolling 17-week period. This is to ensure compliance with Working Time Regulations 1998, and we discourage over-excessive working practices which are not necessarily productive. Your Contract of Employment may include a 48 hour opt out provision, however, if it does not and should you wish to, you are entitled to opt out of these limits by giving written consent on a 48 hour Opt Out form. This is subject to you reserving the right to withdraw such consent by giving 3 months’ notice in writing to the directors.
