Good timekeeping and regular attendance are considered conditions of employment. They are necessary in order to maintain the smooth running of the business, to meet customer needs and to maintain an effective team-working environment.
We recognise that, from time to time, this will be impossible, and we are always ready to assist you when you experience genuine difficulties, however, persistent lateness will not be accepted and may result in disciplinary action being taken.
You should remember that your start and finish time is not the same as the time of arrival at or leaving. You must be ready to start work at your start time – parking your car, clearing up etc. does not form part of your working day.
