Who is a lone worker?

A lone worker is someone who works by themselves without close or direct supervision, e.g.

• Working alone for long periods of time.
• Working on their own outside of normal hours.

This could include working either at One Degree North offices, on site or at home (further guidance on home working is covered in our Flexible Working Practices policy).
