One Degree North will supply equipment needed to enable you to work effectively from home. This will include:

  • Relevant IT equipment including laptop and applicable accessories.

Equipment supplied by One Degree North is not for personal use, and laptops should only be used by you (e.g., not by members of family, friends etc.). 

Any equipment provided to you by the company for the purposes of fulfilling your role, that is damaged due to negligence, will be dealt with under the companies disciplinary policy. We may also request that the employee contributes to the replacement or insurance excess of the equipment damaged.

You will be asked to sign for any equipment we provide to you upon joining the agency and throughout your employment, to confirm that you have received the equipment and agree to comply with our Equipment policy.

If any equipment issued to you is damaged, lost or not performing as it should, please make one of the Directors aware as soon as possible.

Returning Equipment:

You must return to the Company upon request and, in any event, upon the termination of your employment given by either party, all company equipment issued to you.

You are required to return all equipment to a Director or your Team Leader at the studio on your last working day. A list of all equipment issued to you will be checked to ensure the equipment has been returned and is in good working condition. You may be required to switch the equipment on for checking and to ensure that you have logged out of all programs, particularly iCloud.

If you are working remotely on your last working day, we will arrange for a courier or Company Director to collect the equipment from your home address.

One Degree North is entitled to deduct from your final salary the value or insurance excess of any company equipment that is not returned to us or is returned damaged, except for accidental damage, fair wear and tear.
