Terms and Conditions of Employment
Aside from location of work, as a home worker, the main terms and conditions of your employment will be no different to any other employee. You will still be expected to comply with all policies and procedures, as outlined in this Handbook.
You are required to contact your own insurance company to advise that you will be working at home. This does not usually result in an increase in premium, but should this happen, we will not reimburse any increase in premium.
Before commencing homeworking, you should advise mortgagees or landlords, if rented, that you intend to work at home. You are responsible for obtaining authorisation from the mortgagee or landlords, if required. One Degree North will not be responsible for any additional costs as a result.
