All Employees must:
- Accept that they are representatives of One Degree North.
- Always be appropriately dressed with a high level of personal hygiene.
- Always be polite.
- Never swear or use bad or offensive language.
- Never criticise One Degree North in front of individuals external to the business.
- Only constructively criticise the business internally with a view to improving matters.
- Never criticise colleagues unless to a director with a view to resolving the issue.
- Never argue with or in front of clients.
- Never disclose confidential information about One Degree North to any third party.
- Work quietly in occupied buildings.
- Follow all safety codes and handbooks to good practice and regulations.
- Never use a client’s telephone for anything other than business and then only with their express permission.
- Never smoke (including e-cigarettes) on our or clients’ premises (except in designated smoking areas).
- Always ensure that when working outside the building, your colleagues know where you are and a full record of your movement is available to One Degree North.
- Ensure that any services taken from the Company, that may be charged for such as photocopying, meals or refreshment must be paid for accordingly.
- Never abuse the Company’s postal system by sending personal letters and parcels through the internal mail system.
