Giving Notice
The length of notice you need to give us, and we need to give you, together with the information about how to do it, is stated in your Contract of Employment.
If you give notice that you intend to leave us either verbally or in writing, this is an actual resignation. Unless otherwise stated, we will automatically accept your resignation in this manner, and you can only request to withdraw it in writing to the director(s). We are not obliged to reinstate you after any form of resignation. During your notice period we may, at our discretion, require you to take any outstanding holiday or may require you to work your notice and as a result will pay you for any outstanding holiday you may have.
Please note that you will lose the rights to any bonus or agency benefits that we have offered staff which happen to lie within your notice period – such as any free holidays at Christmas, paid sick leave or paid bereavement leave.
