Preventing Redundancies

We will take all reasonable steps to avoid redundancies providing the following steps are financially viable and follow business rationale. These may include but are not limited to:
- Recruitment freezes except for specialist roles or roles which have a direct impact on the bottom line.
- Retraining and redeploying employees to other parts of One Degree North.
- Reducing or eliminating overtime in sections where feasible.
- Seeking applicants for voluntary redundancy where feasible and should the company wish to do so.
- Termination of temporary/contract staff where it is entirely feasible that an ‘at risk’ candidate could do the role.
