You call into work sick that morning, speaking with a director and explaining that you have an upset stomach. A number of your work colleagues, who are Facebook ‘friends’, print out and show your line a director a number of status updates throughout the day showing that you are on a big shopping spree with friends. In these circumstances, you would have falsely claimed to be sick, and breached the implied trust and integrity between us, therefore, you would be subject to disciplinary action.
