PD is an ongoing activity which we all do but may not recognise. Attending a conference or seminar, reading a relevant book or article, meeting someone to discuss an issue or using the internet to research a particular topic are all development activities. We are learning new things all the time but realising the value of any learning takes place when we apply what we have learnt.

We will support your learning, specifically where it is something that can and will be applied in our business environment or will have a return on investment for the company. The types of support/opportunities you can expect from us may include but are not limited to:

  • Mentoring from a more experienced colleague.
  • To be a mentor or Coach for someone less experienced.
  • Coaching from other members of the team/department.
  • Project responsibility.
  • Knowledge transfer through provision of training or presentations to colleagues.
  • Work shadowing.
  • Representing your specialism in a cross-Company project.

Plus:

  • Purchase of relevant books and/or other learning material.
  • Study support for qualifications e.g. CIM, CIMA etc.
  • Conferences/Seminars.
  • Specific Training or Bespoke Management Development.
