If you fall sick whilst absent on holiday, sickness absence will be substituted for annual leave providing you follow sickness absence notification procedures, and a medical certificate is supplied for the days in question. If you are on sick leave you may request to cancel any prearranged holiday that would otherwise coincide with your sick leave. You should notify your Line Manager as soon as possible that you wish to do this.
