The Company believes it is important to maintain regular contact with employees, particularly when they are on longer-term sickness absence. To meet this aim, house visits (arranged with your agreement) or wellbeing meetings at a suitable location may be arranged. The main purpose of contact is to see how you are and establish whether any assistance can be provided with a view to helping you to return to work. Where the absence is lengthy the Company will also consider, as appropriate, obtaining medical advice and/or referring you to an Occupational Health Advisor to assist in providing information regarding the prospects of a return to work.
